A few months ago we changed our branding from YellowPages.com.eg to Yellow.com.eg, why? the reason is simple, people can’t pronounce the word pages, they always say “baidges”, now it’s much easier! well NO! that’s not why we chaged it 🙂

Although the above is true, the reason we moved away from “pages” is that we are becoming more electronic and less print oriented. This is happening in all Yellow Pages worldwide and Egypt is no exception. You don’t need to lift a heavy directory any more to find the phone number of your favourite restaurant to make a reservation, you just need to pick your phone and access our iPhone application or Mobile Yellow Pages (MYP) to get what you are looking for in a few seconds. Very simple.

Since we are moving away from “Pages” then why do we still keep that heavy directory under our walking fingers? we just got rid of it and kept the fingers, you will always need the fingers to type on your computer or phone…
